Ways to Overcome the Challenges Facing the African Union

To address the challenges facing the African Union, Africans are encouraged to do the following:

1. Stop violence and crime in the member states.
2. Conserve the environment in order to fight climate change, which leads to food insecurity.
3. Provide equal economic, political, and educational opportunities to all people, especially the youth, women, and those with special needs, to bring peace and harmony.
4. Prepare an enabling environment for smooth trade by removing trade barriers, reducing taxes or customs duties, and controlling the quality of domestic and foreign goods.
5. Set an effective control system for financial markets.
6. Improve investments from within and outside the African Union to increase income for each member state.
7. Apply principles of good governance in the public sector, such as effective management of public resources (funds, people, and equipment).
8. Ensure effective management of health services to minimize the spread of diseases.
9. Improve infrastructure such as roads, railways, ports, and airports.
10. Improve the accessibility of energy by using alternative sources such as wind, solar, and natural gas.
11. Reduce poverty by creating more employment opportunities.
