How Sunshine is Measured

1. The sunshine recorder burns the recording card when the Sun is shining.
2. The burn marks on the card indicate the duration of sunshine throughout the day.
3. At the end of the day, the recording card is removed, and the total hours and minutes of sunlight are read and recorded.
