Clouds comprise a mass of small water droplets or ice crystals floating in the sky. The shape, height, and movement of clouds play an important role in determining the weather condition which is likely to occur in a particular area. They also help to know whether it is going to rain. In addition, clouds protect us from intense sun rays during the day. Weather forecasters monitor cloud trends to get accurate information for various purposes.

Measuring and recording clouds
