Reading and writing decimals with three decimal places

Decimals are read from left to right. Digits on the right side of the decimal point are read one after another.

Example 1

Read the following decimals:

1. 12.006 — Twelve point zero zero six.
2. 0.847 — Zero point eight four seven.
3. 338.229 — Three hundred and thirty-eight point two two nine.
4. 45670.921 — Forty-five thousand six hundred and seventy point nine two one.
