Step 1: Listen and Point

When your teacher shows you real objects or pictures, listen carefully to the French name and point to the correct object.

Step 2: Repeat Out Loud

Practise saying the words after your teacher. Listen to how the words sound.

Step 3: Play the Guessing Game (Jeu de devinette)

Your partner describes an object, and you guess the name. For example:

• Partner: Dans le sac de Fatou, il y a quelque chose pour écrire. (In Fatou's bag, there is something for writing.)
• You: C'est un crayon ! (It's a pencil!)

Step 4: Draw and Label

Draw classroom objects in your exercise book and write their French names underneath. This helps you connect the written word with the picture.
