What is a computer?

A computer is an electronic device that helps people do many things by following instructions, which are called programs.

1. Receives Data: The computer takes in information, such as text, pictures, or numbers, from the user or other devices (like a keyboard or a camera).

2. Processes Data: It uses the programs installed on it to work with the information. This means it can perform tasks, calculations, or changes to the data.

3. Stores Data: Computers have memory or storage where they can save data, like documents, pictures, and videos, for later use.

4. Gives Output: After processing the information, the computer provides the result, such as showing a picture on the screen or printing a document.
