Vivid Descriptions of People, Places, Events
Descriptive essays
Descriptive essays are concerned with describing objects, experiences, or ideas. The word "descriptive" comes from the verb "to describe." To begin a descriptive essay, it is important to identify exactly what you want to describe. This form relies on creative writing.
Descriptive composition
Descriptive composition requires the writer to express, portray, and show clearly and vividly something that can be touched, smelled, heard, felt, or thought by the reader. It involves giving a detailed description about a topic, person, thing, place, or an incident.

We finished up with tea and cherry tart. Montmorency had a fight with the kettle during tea time and came off a poor second."
