Responsibilities of the embassy

Responsibilities of the ambassador

1. Lead diplomatic efforts: The ambassador acts as the chief diplomat in the host country, overseeing all embassy activities and diplomatic relations.
2. Negotiating agreements: The ambassador plays a central role in negotiating treaties, agreements, and other official documents on behalf of Tanzania.
3. Advising the government: They provide regular reports to the Tanzanian government on political, economic, and social matters in the host country.
4. Advocating for Tanzanian citizens: The ambassador ensures the rights and welfare of Tanzanian citizens are protected abroad, addressing any issues they may face in the host country.
