Revolution

Definition: Revolution is the movement of the Earth around the Sun along its orbit.

Duration: It takes 365 days (one year) for the Earth to complete one full revolution around the Sun.

Effects of Revolution:

• Seasons: The Earth's revolution, along with its tilt, causes the changing of seasons. As Earth orbits the Sun, different areas of the planet receive varying amounts of sunlight, leading to seasonal changes like spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
