The concept of simple machine

A machine is a tool or device that makes work easier by reducing the amount of effort needed to perform a task.

There are two types of machines:

Simple machines

These are basic machines that perform one simple task to make work easier. They use only one force to operate and are typically easy to use. Examples include:

3. Wheelbarrows (for carrying heavy loads)

   

4. Bottle openers (for opening bottles)

Complex machines

These are machines made by combining two or more simple machines to perform more complicated tasks. Examples include:

1. Sewing machines (which combine gears, levers, and needles to sew fabric)

   

2. Bicycles (which use wheels, gears, pedals, and chains to help you move)
