This activity can be done by an individual or somebody else. It refers to what is going on at the time of observation, guessing, talking, and so on. This is the Present Continuous Tense or Progressive.

The verbs end with ing.

  1. Martha and Consolata are sweeping the floor.
  2. It is looking at you.
  3. They are eating rice.
  4. You are playing nicely.

  3. She is cooking ugali.
