School morning routine

Mariam is a pupil at Songambele Primary School. She wakes up early in the morning from Monday to Friday. She cleans the home compound and then prepares herself for school. One morning when she arrived at school, she found the teacher on duty giving instructions to the pupils. He was reminding them to follow the school routine as follows: "When you arrive at school in the morning, attend the roll-call first. The head prefect and class representatives will supervise the exercise. The teacher on duty will be around to assist them. Secondly, you will clean the surroundings, classrooms, and toilets. Thirdly, when the general cleaning is completed, the school timekeeper will ring the bell. When the bell rings, you will meet at the assembly ground immediately. The teachers will join you at the Assembly ground too. You will be required to line up properly according to classes. You must be silent and attentive. Next, the teacher on duty will call the head prefect to start the National Anthem and the school song. All the pupils and teachers will sing the songs," the teacher emphasised. "The marching band will lead the morning parade. Teachers will conduct cleanliness inspection. After the parade, teachers will make general announcements. Finally, you will march to your respective classrooms to begin the morning sessions. I hope everything is clear," the teacher concluded.
