  1. Mazengo and Good Samaritans

Mazengo was nine years old. He lived with his parents in Dodoma. Mazengo could not walk without help. He was a child with disability. His parents hid him in a dark room. The neighbours did not see him. He lived like a prisoner. He rarely went out. His younger brother, Joel, was in school.

One day, a group of people from Good Samaritans Charity Organization came to Mazengo's village. They moved from house to house asking people questions. They were looking for children who needed help. The organization also helped parents whose income was low. They gave poor parents money for education of their children. The Good Samaritans did not know that Mazengo was locked indoors. Fortunately, a neighbour told them that Mazengo, a child with physical disability, was kept inside the house. They went to Mazengo's family and found Mazengo in a bad condition. While other children with disabilities were taken to school, Mazengo was not in school. They reported the matter to the village authorities. The Good Samaritans decided to help Mazengo to go to school. The Good Samaritans paid for his school needs. They bought him school uniforms and exercise books. They also provided him with a wheelchair.
