Giving Instructions

Instructions: Detailed information about how something should be done or operated.

How to Apply for the MAME Scholarship:

1. Visit a MAME office to collect the application form.
2. The application form has four sections.
3. After filling in Section A, take the form to your school head to complete Section B.
4. The village secretary or ward executive officer will complete Section C.
5. When returning the form, attach copies of your certificates and testimonials.

Five Things to Note When Giving Instructions:

1. Be clear on the purpose of the instructions (e.g., to find the way to a place or to perform a particular action).
2. Use simple, clear sentences.
3. Organize the steps well and cover each step fully.
4. Allow time for the listener to ask questions.
5. Give the listener a chance to repeat the instructions to ensure they have heard them correctly.
