Being independent in life

You might have solved some problems and made right decisions in your life. In addition, you might have also overcome bad influence. This includes

  1. going out of school without permission,
  2. fighting,
  3. using abusive language, and
  4. not doing assignments.

The ability to solve your own problems and make decisions is what we refer to as being independent.

You should use your ability and talent to perform independent actions. These include

  1. washing your own clothes and cleaning your room,
  2. making a timetable for independent studies, and
  3. being independent in arranging your reading timetable.

Being curious

In order to learn new things, you must always be curious. That is developing a culture of questioning to learn new things.

Setting goals

Setting goals is an important step toward achieving success, whether in school, personal life, or other areas. When you set clear and achievable goals, you give yourself direction and motivation. Here are some steps to help you set effective goals:

  1. Be Specific Your goal should be clear and focused. Instead of saying, "I want to do well in school," you could say, "I want to improve my math grade from a B to an A by the end of the semester."
  2. Make It Measurable Make sure you can track your progress. For example, "I want to complete 10 practice problems each day for the next month."
  3. Set Realistic Goals Set goals that are challenging but still achievable. Setting goals that are too difficult can be discouraging.
  4. Time-bound Give yourself a deadline. This helps to stay focused and motivated. For instance, "I will read 10 pages of my science book every day for two weeks."
